d’Arcy Doyle Art Awards 2020
With our deep commitment to bringing a community event to Mudgeeraba, the d’Arcy Doyle Art Awards committee have made the decision to move the d’Arcy Doyle Art Awards across to 2021.
All current entrants will receive a full refund on their entry fees.
The d’Arcy Doyle Schools Challenge for children attending junior, middle and high schools will go ahead online as planned and we encourage all artists to encourage the young people in their lives to get involved.
Please reach out to us if you have any further questions and stay creative!
The d’Arcy Doyle Art Awards and Exhibition is now in its 16th year. The Art Awards were established to honour d’Arcy Doyle, one of Australia’s best artists, who lived locally in Mudgeeraba.
This prestigious exhibition has become a Gold Coast icon, contributing to the success of artists from across the country. The main landscape category boasts a $10,000 first prize with further categories in Portraiture and Still Life.
The awards and exhibition showcase the best of Australian art from professionals and up and coming emerging artists, making the exhibition an important event on the arts calendar for artists and art collectors.
The Junior d’Arcy Doyle Art Awards and Exhibition was introduced in 2016 and continues to enjoy success and support from the Gold Coast community.
As an added attraction, the Gold Coast Spinners and Weavers yarn bomb the Mudgeeraba Village, giving a festive feel to the 12-day exhibition.
